Queen Emma Before and After School Care is managed by Queen Emma Primary School and is an additional service to provide quality childcare for children in Nursery, Reception and Year 1

Our Extended Care is staffed by qualified and experienced Queen Emma staff who will keep your child active and entertained in a safe and friendly environment.

Our team are passionate about the quality of service we offer, ensuring the children have the best time possible so that they want to continue to come back.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club runs from 7.45am to 9.00am to Nursery kids and 7.45am to 8.45am to Reception and Year 1.

This club offers a gentle introduction to the day ahead, with qualified and caring staff providing a selection of nutritious breakfast choices in a relaxed environment.

Breakfast Club Fees:

Cubs - £8.80 per session

Foxes - £8.60 per sessions

Reception - £6.85 per session

Year 1 - £6.85 per session

After School Club

After School Club offers two sessions: 3.30pm to 4.30pm and 3.30pm to 6.00pm

Children are provided with a fruit snack on arrival. Followed by light tea, which is prepared by our school kitchen staff, served at 4.45pm to children staying for the whole session.

 

Session 3.30pm to 4.30pm:

Cubs - £7.05 per session

Foxes, Reception, Year 1 - £6.85 per session

Session 3.30pm to 6.00pm:

Cubs - £20.10 per session

Foxes, Reception, Year 1 - £19.60 per session

Fee Increase

The Federation’s budget this year continues to be very challenging, particularly with increased costs.  We are always reluctant to increase fees and have tried to make savings where possible. 

The Governors have therefore taken the decision to increase our Nursery, wrap around care and holiday club fees by an amount that they feel is reasonable, and that is still a competitive rate compared to other local providers.  Fee increases will come into effect from the start of September 2026 and will be as follows:
