This half-term in Reception, the children have been learning the story of 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'. Children have been using their imaginations and acting out different fairy tales in our role play corner. They did great speaking and listening to one another, and took it in turns to be Goldilocks. As a whole class, we also discussed safety and why it is important to follow instructions and rules. We learned the story of 'Little Red Riding Hood' and children thought carefully about why it was dangerous that she left the path and didn't follow the instructions from her mother.
