In Reception during Leader in Me day we talked about our learning animals. We talked about how our 'can-do kangeroo' means we should always give everything a go and not give up. Our 'sensible snake' means we should be follow the rules and make sure we are behaviouring appropriately in the classroom. The 'responsible rhino' means we should always make sure we are doing the right thing. 

After this we talked about how we could have jobs in the classroom to help us make sure we are all having a go at showing these learning animals qualities. Some of the children got choosen to do specail jobs eg: Cloakroom Monitor and Tidy up monitor. These children have got a special lanyard explaining what their jobs are. The other children in the classroom have been given responsiblity for different areas in the room that they have to ensure are kept tidy. 

In Reception, we have loved taking on our new jobs and are trying really hard to show qualities of our learning animals everyday.
