In Maths Seahorse class have been learning about 3D shapes and their properties. We learnt that 3D shapes have 2D faces. We looked at a selection of 3D shapes and identified their 2D shaped faces.
The next day we carried on our learning by learning that 3D shapes laid flat are called nets. We deconstructed different household 3D shapes into nets. Then we looked at some nets, guessed what 3D shape it would make and finally made the nets into shapes. We really had to persevere as it was tricky to cut and glue them!
